  • Our Story

    Zero Waste Dunbar is a Sustaining Dunbar project which supports the Scotland’s Zero Waste Plan and aims to reduce our waste to landfill and maximise reuse and recycling across Dunbar and District. Zero Waste Dunbar will do this by delivering multiple subprojects over the themes of Community Engagement, Business Support, Education and Infrastructure.

    The successful proposal for Zero Waste Dunbar identified several possible subprojects to be delivered via the project. Following further engagement with key stakeholders, including residents and businesses these subprojects along with additional opportunities which could be delivered via the Zero Waste Dunbar programme will be developed and implemented.
