We’re looking for courageous volunteers to walk across 20ft of burning coals on Tue 19th November to raise money for the Tower Hamlets Food Growing Network*; a local project that promotes and supports urban community food gardens in East London.

The Network aims to make it easy for people to grow their own food by running workshops, events, a community seed library, producing a weekly e-newsletter, and a food growing resources directory. We rely on donations, grants and volunteers to maintain the network, which is why we’re holding a fundraising firewalk this year.

You’ll take part in a 2-hour firewalk training session that reveals the secret to walking on hot coals with Firewalk specialists, Blaze. Then… the firewalk itself!

You’ll need to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship donations from friends and family, but don’t worry, we’ll give you everything you need to make your fundraising a success!

The firewalk will be held at St Matthias Community Centre in Poplar.
