  • Our Story

Total Digital Inclusion CIC (In formation) does exactly what it states in the name. Our services have three main target audiences.

    1.  “Art from the Heart”, a freeflow series of Art Workshops to bring out the Artist in just about everyone. Young, Old, Able-bodied and Disabled. “Art for Wellness” is a more Therapeutic Art Workshops to draw out the best possible Art prowess as well as ensuring that the clients enjoy a carefree and stress-free, non pressured Art activity.
    2. In this day and age, it is sad to see that many people, particularly the elderly, many of them living alone and unable to use our modern technologies such as Laptops, Desktops, Smartphones and Tablets. We assist and teach these people on a one to one basis, slowly and build up their level of confidence in using some or all of the technologies. Where possible and if available through Sponsorship we will where necessary supply appropriate technology, when available. There would have been far less isolation and loneliness throughout the current Pandemic Lockdown if these people could have used technology to stay in contact with family and friends.
    3. Again from the current lockdown, we are aware of so many people affected by Dementia and their carers have been totally excluded from any Social gatherings because of Covid-19  Lockdown rules. This we propose to change with establishing two “Daniels Dementia Cafes”, one in Edgware and the other in Graham Park. Here, one day a week in each location we will have Coffee & Cake (who can resist a good cake) and a myriad of activities such as Music (Old Time Music Hall, Big Bands etc.,) Hymns and Songs from the Church, Chapel, Synagogue or Temple, bringing back memories familiar to Dementia Sufferers who will be familiar with these songs. At one location it is also hoped to have up to three Laptop/Desktop Computers available to train users and allow them supervised usage.

The people behind this initiative are Husband and Wife Team Mrs Esperanza Walsh and Dr Daniel R Walsh FInstSMM. Esperanza has her first degree in Metallurgical Engineering followed quickly by an MBA in Marketing and Finance. Whilst caring for Daniel post Open Heart Surgery she took up a hobby she enjoyed almost 10 years previously and was convinced by Daniel to follow her heart and continue to Paint. She then took a Certificate Course in Art Therapy at the University of Hertfordshire followed by a Level 4 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness, An Assessors course and finally a Teaching Diploma.

Daniel for his part has worked all his working life in Technology from Telecommunications to IT Security and Access Control. He has worked at Hitachi Europe as Principal Consultant, Hitachi Data Systems as a Sales Manager as well as being Global Sales & Marketing Director at OmniPerception, a Facial Biometrics Company to mention but a few.

More recently Daniel qualified as an Advocate, specialising in End of Life Care and preparation and most recently took his Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness. He is currently studying Dementia in all of its forms and will progress to an appropriate Certification in this subject in due course.

Individually they work extremely well together. Collectively they are a force to be reckoned with, all for the good and benefit of our Communities. Both of them are currently Enhanced DBS Certificate cleared.
