Our Story
Tooting Foodival is a project run by Transition Town Tooting. Each year in September we host a big food related event in Tooting that generally involves connecting local growers of food to local cooks, restaurants and local people. A key idea is to connect people with the source of their food and to engender conversations about localism, growing, food miles & sustainability. It’s free and anyone with any interest in food can get involved. Are you growing chillis on your balcony or apples at the end of your garden? Could you be a Top Tooting Cook? Would you like to try free locally cooked dishes or see local chefs demonstrate their skills?
