Our Story
We wish to take our ethos beyond our school gates and involve the community in our projects.
Children will learn life skills and local people will demonstrate their skills and knowledge
The project will be sustainable as the monies made from selling produce will support the project into the future.
We want to teach children, parents, the local community and the schools who work alongside us, how to plant, grow and cook your own food. We want to grow plants, vegetables and fruits to sell and we want to invite people into our school for harvesting, cooking and eating projects so that they too can learn these vital life skills. We believe that in doing so, we can get our community growing more, we can support young entrepreneurs at our school in selling what they have grown and we can have a lasting supply of food for our school kitchen which supplies many others in the area. In doing so, we can get more children eating home grown, organic food.
