  • Our Story

The Friendship Circle of Leeds is an non-denominational organisation that provides assistance and support to the families of children with special needs regardless of background, faith, race, colour or religion. We inspire teenager volunteers to extend a helping hand involving the special needs children in a variety of social experiences and activities, giving them better chances in life and integrating them into the wider community while fostering the values of compassion and ‘volunteerism’ in our youth.

While society has made great strides to include the disabled, much more remains to be done. Integration at a young age is of utmost importance and will produce optimal results. Our program successfully addresses this concern by bringing special needs children into the orbit and social life of active teenagers.
