Our Story
The Environment Centre is an independent Charity in Swansea, it was set up in 1995 by a group of volunteers and now employs 9 members of staff. The Centre is a hub for the community in Swansea and the surrounding area, focusing on environmental issues and sustainable lifestyles.
Our mission statement is:
To raise awareness of environmental issues within all sections of the community.
To encourage active participation by individuals and organisations in environmental projects.
To promote change towards a more sustainable future.
The Centre houses office space, meeting rooms, an Eco-shop and coffee shop, and a permaculture garden, and is open 10 – 4 Mon – Fri.
