  • Our Story

Mission statement-To create a holistic refuge specifically designated to immerse our local community and nature in union to establish a sustainability centre/hub. Through environmental remediation practices we aim to effectively restore ecological systems and remove biological pollutants from industrial waste and misuse. In distinction to this, our design allows for an abundance of community focused projects to be ran that adopt ecologically low impacting practices while advocating sustainable natural heritage and development. By building a shared appreciation and knowledge about nature and the environmental systems we impact, the progressive continuation and ethos of the sustainability centre/hub will give our community the opportunity to engage directly with alternative educational experiences. This will be achieved through projects such as our community farm, Little Warriors curriculum, and other immersive experiences. Alongside this we will work in conjunction with other associated projects including Nature to Nurture Forest School.

The site- The Earthstar site is on a nearly 7 acre land locked piece of land in the middle of an industrial estate in Bootle Liverpool,The site is an abandoned former paintball/go cart site with 3 warehouses (22000sqft) and nearly 5 acres of mixed woodland. It has flooded woodland areas, deep holes/ponds, dense thorn bushed areas.

we are just starting to bring this site back to life and would love to hear from anyone interested in making this space live again.
