Our Story
The Community Rewilding project aims to give people in Clydebank, Yoker and Greenock opportunities to improve their local green spaces for the benefit of nature and the community. As well as rewilding places by creating wildflower meadows and planting trees we will be making them more appealing and accessible by maintaining paths and public entrances.
And it’s not just the places that are becoming wilder… It’s the people too! TCV seeks to help people connect to their local natural history by running activities and events such as bioblitzs, outdoor nature play and training courses.
There are loads of ways to get involved, for more info about the project please contact Rebecca Strofton at r.strofton@tcv.org.uk, visit the website or check us out on twitter!
