This is an exciting opportunity to assist Sustrans staff in the West Midlands Regional team in our office in Birmingham.

Sustrans makes smarter travel choices possible, desirable and inevitable.

We’re a leading UK charity enabling people to travel by foot, bike or public transport for more of the journeys we make every day. We work with families, communities, policy-makers and partner organisations so that people are able to choose healthier, cleaner and cheaper journeys, with better places and spaces to move through and live in.

    Summary of tasks

Tasks will vary from volunteer to volunteer depending on your skills and interests. The tasks may include: photocopying, laminating, data collation, data input, dealing with enquiries, preparing information for promotional events, updating social media and any other tasks deemed appropriate as and when required.

    Skills required

Ideally you will have good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher. Some experience of administration beneficial.

    Time commitment

The ability to offer a longer term commitment of 6 – 12 months would be an advantage. However, we are very flexible.

We are grateful for any time you are able to give to help us and are looking for a volunteer to help us 1 day per week.

    Training and support offered

A 2 hour induction  by all Sustrans volunteers.

You will be working with a friendly team of people and will have support with your given tasks.
