Squared Root works closely with communities to develop bespoke solutions, depending on their needs and aspirations.

Sustainable communities are those that meet the diverse needs of existing and future residents, their children and other users, contribute to a high quality of life and provide opportunity and choice. They can achieve this in ways that make effective use of natural resources, enhance the environment, promote social cohesion and inclusion and strengthen economic prosperity.

Our projects are delivered London-wide but right now we’re working in Tower Hamlets and Westminster.

It’s a back to basics approach founded on the belief that only real graft will help us change the way we live.

    Community Initiatives

We are supporting communities to take positive action such as:

    Community engagement and behavioural change
    Stakeholder consultation
Promoting energy efficiency, and reducing fuel poverty
Promoting the reuse, reduce and recycle message
    Co-producing community food growing projects

We design and deliver programmes and events for communities, voluntary sector groups, Local Authorities, housing associations and businesses. We can help at every stage, from research, feasibility studies, development of ideas, designing the service/programme, delivery and monitoring and evaluation.

We also offer fundraising research and application development.
