    who we are: 

    South Wales Community Mountian Rangers  (Sw.cmr)

    We are a community organisation who always have the community in mind  

    Swcmr was formed to help the communities of RCT  to prevent the all too common fire and litter damage to our local enviroment.

    If you feel strongly about our area, and want to get involved , you can do this by signing up as a volunteer vie our website, or by reporting suspicios activity, such as grass fires or fly tipping.

    ( please note if you see any grass fires please always contact the fire service emrgency services first )

    What we do:

    Practical engagement with mountians, woodlands and uplands to devolop enviromental audit skills.

    Rivers clean ups, Litter picks, fly tip removals, footpath maintenance.

    Organising walks and community activities to raise awerness and engagement.

    Teaching bushcraft and countryside skills to young people to reduce the likelihood of malicious fires.

    Encouraging and increasing the safe and responsible use of mountians, woodlands and uplands across South Wales.

    Creating responsibility for the beutiful landscape we live in.

    To protect, maintain and create public footpaths.
