This year Skelton Grange Environment centre is celebrating it’s 25th birthday and working with a group of volunteers from the local community we will help to further improve the nature reserve through various conservation tasks. These will include sowing wildflower meadows, planting a vegetable garden, managing hedges, ponds and woodlands and the paths through them. All of this will help to keep the site at it’s best, not only for the wildlife that uses it, but also the 5000 adults and children who visit the nature reserve each year.
