Our Story
We are a group of diverse creatives rejuvenating a derelict plant nursery and theatrical prop warehouse in Camden Town!
A brief history:
Being neglected for over 10 years, the garden and buildings were beginning to fall apart and degrade the surrounding neighbourhood. Having once being home to an array of tropical plants and trees grown for the entertainment industries, the land, greenhouses and building remain vibrant with creative growing energy.

The space has huge potential! With half an acre of land, including 3 large greenhouses and a warehouse building, the vision is to cultivate a free flowing creative community hub. A pioneering centre for renewable energy, organic food (with the latest technologies, such as Aquaponics) and a space for skills-sharing, social events and more.
We have already grown plenty of fruit, veg and herbs on site, set up a bistro cafe and hold social and creative events (including cinema nights, life drawing, repair cafe’s, skill sharing, and yoga).
Right now we are sprouting the way forward for the garden. The situation is quite complicated and uncertain but we are witnessing the positive transition already.
Our current activity is focused around winter gardening, events and plenty of DIY building/renovation and lots of MUSIC. We also plan to have our Cafe open full time during 2/3 days a week – for which we need volunteers!
Please do get in touch, come visit and bring your ideas!!!
