  • Our Story

We offer educational, therapeutic and recreational cruises and activities on the River Thames for the young; for older people; and people of all ages with a disability or mental health condition.

As well as our regular day and residential cruises and educational programmes, we help our clients plan bespoke cruises and activities specially suited to their group’s particular needs.

Over 20 years, we have shown that enjoying and learning about the river on board our specially adapted and wheelchair-accessible barge, Thames Venturer, is a very special experience, that brings relaxation, health and personal development benefits unique to the river setting – as shown by our many clients who rebook year after year.
