Our Story
We have received funds through Greggs Foundation Environmental Fund to renovate and rebuild a number of raised vegetable and herb beds in Winsford Gardens in Penge, south east London.
The Friends of Winsford Gardens/ Penge Green Gym Community Group of local volunteers will be working on this project during Autumn/Winter 2016. This new Greggs-funded work is part of our continuing efforts to improve and transform this small park for the benefit of our local community and wildlife.
Our group meets every Wednesday, 11am – 2pm at Winsford Gardens, Penge.
