Welcome to Project Dirt’s Low Impact Christmas Campaign.

As we all know, Christmas is often a time of excess and indulgence – whether that be the waste we produce or simply eating too much. So this Christmas period Project Dirt are running a campaign to lessen our consumption – and we need your help to do this.

We would like you to send in pictures of your eco-Christmas – this could be anything which you think would be relevant to reducing your impact at this time. Images could be of you decorating a fir tree in your garden instead of chopping one down, or wrapping up presents in old newspapers!

Post these images in the Gallery section of your Journal on your Profile page. Once you have done this, post a link of your Journal to the newsfeed on this Project.

Additionally, a Forum post has been set up as part of this project to enable you to discuss and share tips for a more environmentally friendly festive holiday.

The first 20 people to contribute to the project, in picture form or via the Forum, will earn themselves a lovely Seed Bomb for their efforts!

Enjoy, and we look forward to hearing your suggestions.
