Plot 22 is a Community Allotment and one of the projects provided is Community Sundays.

We want to increase the diversity of local people who come to Plot 22.

    We are offering:

    a) Two facilitated taster sessions for up to 10 people (and their children), where participants:

    • plant, care for, harvest food
    • explore natural environment
    • learn about the environment
    • develop skills to ‘cook from scratch’

    b) Four places on our Community Sunday sessions to:
    • garden together
    • cook/share a meal with produce harvested from the PLOT

    c) Advising/mentoring local groups who want to establish their own community

Greggs Foundation Grant is funding the above.  It includes the engagement with local groups, the preparation and facilitation of sessions/, mentoring and advice on setting up a community garden and proportionate contribution to site upkeep, equipment and insurance.
