Our Story
To recruit local young people for a Northern Star Youth Forum. In 2014 Northern Star successfully supported our first Youth Forum, who worked to improve the quality of life for young people in Chelmsley Wood. That group has now disbanded and moved on. Thanks to Project Dirt funding we can re-form our new group of local young people as a consultation panel to gather opinions and identify needs of other local young people. The group will be supported by Northern Star and link with other services and community groups, building relationships to create a network of positive opportunities for young people. The forum will also develop skills and employability, provide new challenges and experiences, be creative, active and fun.
