Mutual Aid Food Willesden is a cross community collaboration to support all in need with food during the COVID-19 crisis.

We want to face the challenge of Covid-19 together as a community and take care of our people as best we can but we need your help to make this happen. Your gift of financial support, time, business partnership and food can make a real difference.

We aim to raise over £25,000 to provide 600-1000 food boxes which will each provide sufficient food for at least 3 days. This food bank is intended to fill the gaps left by the enormity of this crisis, it is not intended as an ongoing service. Any funds remaining after the crisis will be donated to the existing local food banks and homeless shelters.

Parcels of essential food and supplies will be prepared according to needs and delivered by teams of volunteers. A number of teams for Mutual Aid and emergency food supply/distribution have been set up within the Brent wards, with a local community centre, based in Marley Walk Willesden Green as the central hub for the operation. We are reaching out through local existing networks such as places of worship, social care, homeless shelters, care homes and Brent Council to address further needs.
