Our Story
Monmouth Park is very much a blank canvass, an open green space. Although there are some trees in the park, much more can be done to make it more enjoyable and environmentally friendly for park users and local residents.
At the moment the park is very much a cut through. Rrecently new park seating and picnic benches have been installed and the addition of a fruit orchard will make it very much a space to spend some time.
Working with City Of Trees, we were going to plant 9 fruit trees over two days of planting sessions.
The sessions were led by City Of Trees assisted by the Friends Of Ordsall Parks with members of the local community.
