Our Story
Middlesbrough Powerchair football Club enables people with physical disabilities from Middlesbrough and surrounding areas to have the opportunity to play football.
We run weekly grassroot sessions for beginners, an intermediate session as well as advanced sessions for the team who play in the national league. We have 32 players with ages ranging from 6 – 69.
Many of the players have severe physical disabilities affecting all limbs and need to use a powerchair to take part in sport. They are often not able to take part in other sports clubs or may be the only wheelchair user. Our club is run entirely by volunteers.
