  • Our Story

Y2K is the only community-based youth service in Midlothian, also open in evening – particularly important in an isolated area. We provide a gateway to other sorts of services, signposting and referring young people to specialist support we work with 500+ individuals (11-18) each year. Our aim is to provide a safe environment, open and accessible to all young people offering opportunities to access informal education through accredited youth achievement awards along with support to develop transferrable skills fostering improved training & employability. Young people attend voluntarily to enjoy being with friends & to access nurture & encouragement to realise their potential. Main activities & services provided
    • InvolveU – open-door drop-ins
    • 180 – youth offending and risky behaviour
    • Y2K+ (info, advice & advocacy)
