  • Our Story

    We are a not for profit voluntary group comprising over 330 members with about 20 – 30 active volunteer fixers , holding events in Market Harborough town.

    Our principal is to assist people with repairing all sorts of small items thus saving waste disposal and CO2.

    So far we’ve saved 33kg metal and plastic waste equivalent to about 155kg CO2.

    additionally teaching people repair skills and finally being a socializing point for coffee and cakes while people exchange their ideas too.

    Examples of the work undertaken are :- repairs to TVs, phones, DVDs, textiles & clothing , jewellery
    Repairs to children’s toys or clothing, book repairs , clocks, making canvas bags from spare cloth.

    November will have a Xmas angle repairing decorations & creating festive bags.

    Of course PAT Testing ensures electrical safety on any repair.
