  • Our Story

We have been raising funds to transform an area of land into an enchanting and engaging outdoor area , this area will be used for a variety of learning experiences and to enhance the well-being of our children and staff alike. We plan to grow a wonderful garden that will be used for all types of subjects such as science, art, English and photography to name just a few. The garden will have three sections. One section is dedicated to being an allotment. Children will actively witness plant life cycles and be able to grow, eat and sell their produce to raise funds that will in turn go back in to sustaining the productivity of the garden. Open days will be run where the community, staff, pupils and their families will come in and work together to maintain the garden.

The middle section of the garden will have a water feature and seating areas where input of lessons can take place or simply a place to sit and breathe, be inspired and be present

The final area will have teepees and cocoons where you can be enveloped and surrounded by clever planting to awaken the senses or perhaps  provide respite from over stimulation.

This area will be a truly beneficial addition to our school community.

We would appreciate help and support with clever planting, funding or green fingered horticulturists who could lend us their knowledge and wisdom in completing this project and bringing this vision to life!
