Our Story
The Liverpool City Region Collective Switch is managed by local environmental charity, Energy Projects Plus, in partnership with the Liverpool City Region local authorities in order to help local residents save on their energy bills by joining together to negotiate a better deal from energy suppliers.
Over 4,600 people joined our first collective switch, which took place in June and those who switched saved an average of £110 a year on their bills.
We are planning a second collective switch for the New Year, however, with the current price rises, we feel it’s important to encourage residents to look at switching now, with the support offered by the City Region scheme.
We are currently running an individual switching campaign, with our switching partner, energyhelpline, to help local residents explore if switching is worthwhile for them, without any pressure.
In particular, we look to support vulnerable people and reluctant switchers through the switching process, with additional support including offline registration options, a free call back service and additional energy saving advice.
Registrations are taken via the website or by calling our Save Energy Advice Line on Freephone 0800 043 0151.
