  • Our Story

Our Incredible School Garden Project aims to develop a growing space within the grounds of the village school including raised growing beds for fruit and vegetables, a green house, cold frames, bee hotels, a compost bin and wormery.

Children will be able to learn about sustainable horticulture, ecology and the environment through: 1) a weekly after-school gardening club; 2) teaching a modular learning curriculum in class; and 3) recognition by the RHS ‘Gardening for Children’ awards scheme.

The project involves close collaboration with the local school and will be delivered by our committed volunteers, working alongside teachers.
