Our Story
Grow N22 exists to transform unlikely, disused and neglected spaces across Haringey into vibrant community gardens and growing spaces made for and by local people.
Were currently running projects in and around Wood Green:
- Westbury Banks Nature Reserve
- Green Rooms Garden
- Noel Park Green Spaces
- St Mungos
and a project just outside the N22 postcode at New Southgate Railway Station.
More projects coming soon!
All GrowN22 projects need:
- 1.a suitable site free and publicly accessible or with potential to be publicly accessible
- 2.funding and sponsorship for tools, materials and plants
- 3.a team of volunteers to create and then maintain the garden
If you can help us with any of these things then were keen to hear from you!
If youre interested in joining any of our projects as a volunteer check out our Volunteer With Us page.
By transforming unlikely, disused and neglected spaces into vibrant community gardens and growing spaces, GrowN22 improves the urban environment and creates places everyone can enjoy. By bringing local people together to create these gardens and community spaces, GrowN22 helps generate community cohesion and cultivates civic pride. Our workshops are opportunities for volunteers to learn new skills, make new friends and discover their power to transform their local environment.
GrowN22 was inspired by and is an active support of the London National Park City campaign.
