  • Our Story

We aim to help people with learning difficulties and/or disability build more independent lives within their own neighbourhood and out with traditional support services.

To facilitate this we will build larger and more sustainable raised beds for the community garden which will be a source of food for local community cafes in the area.

Complimentary workshops on food growing and how to utilise home grown produce will be offered to a larger range of participants enhancing their health and wellbeing.

People will have more local social contact, widen their networks, increase community capacity, increase confidence and provide opportunities to work as part of a team, leading to healthier and more independent lives.
