  • Our Story

Our vision is of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise prosper.

Our mission is to transform lives and places in communities in need in London.

    Our programmes:

    • Communities & young people. We engage with communities and improve the contribution we make to social cohesion, engaging communities in local decision making, and social action to improve peoples lives and to engender civic pride.
    • Urban Landscapes & Open Space. We maximise the potential of open spaces to provide environmental, social and economic benefits to communities, focusing on their contribution to improving health and helping to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
    • Environmental Services. We offer projects and services to help tackle climate change and other environmental issues through formal education, community support, training and professional advice.
    • Youth, Employment & Skills. We engage, motivate and inspire young people to make and lead positive changes in their neighbourhood. We help the most disadvantaged young people and adults improve their skills and move from welfare into sustainable employment.

    Our work results in:
    • better local environments
    • people more satisfied with the places where they live
    • people more empowered to engage in local decision-making
    • people and organisations better equipped to connect with economic opportunity
    • people behaving in ways which are healthier, more community-minded and more respectful of the environment
