  The parks group of FoWG work to improve Windmill Gardens park for all users and visitors to Brixton Windmill. Among other things:

  – We grow heritage soft fruit in the park;

  – We tend a medicinal herb bed that we have created in a disused sandpit;

  – Our volunteers regularly mill Brixton Flour in the windmill using the set of stones installed by the Ashby family inside the windmill in1902 and which they used to produce stoneground flour up to 1934.

  We are a Capital Clean-up Kit Keeper
