Our Story
Highlands Gardens is a public garden in New Barnet, London Borough of Barnet. We take an interest in the gardens, do a bit of work (weeding, planting bulbs, picking up litter, clearing the stream bed etc), advise the council on running the gardens, apply for grants that the council can’t do directly and organise the occasional party in the gardens.
We usually meet for gardening on the first Saturday of the month at 10am. This varies a bit depending on who is available, so check our web site to be sure. Do come and say hello if you are in the area.
The main gate is at the junction of Leicester Road and Abbotts Road, with a smaller gate at the top on Prospect Road.
