Our Story
The FGS:L project is led by Garden Organic and will work with partners to strengthen and build upon existing activity to support all schools in London to fully embed food growing into school life.
The ultimate aim is to demonstrate how every school and the community it serves can benefit from food growing, so that school leaders, staff and volunteers have the skills and confidence to get involved.
We’ve been asking all London schools to complete a short survey to find out how food growing is currently being used in schools, and what support would be most useful. If you haven’t yet filled in the survey, please visit our site: www.foodgrowingschools.org to do so.
We will soon be announcing events and support for schools, please join as a member and respond to the survey to be kept informed.
