  • Our Story

We plan to run several linked days and hope to repair and put more planters around the trees already in situ near Brixton Community Base.

Near the communal areas at Brixton Community Base backing onto Probert Road, we will place larger planters filled with: soil, compost, bulbs and plants which will be will be donated or acquired to encourage a more positive feel to the local environment. Local shops and cafes will be encouraged to participate.

Through our ‘Play street ‘initiative we will train young people to lead on becoming more aware of the importance of looking after our environment e.g. a no litter scheme with children’s activities e.g, making posters and some art works on’ Play Street days’ which encourage positive behaviours through a ‘Plant Out Day’ for a community volunteering session May 29th and a clearing up day after June 18th event.
