    A five day course on Sustainable Development for UK based youth leaders, youth workers, volunteers, students. A combination of field trips to sustainability projects in the Forest of Dean, and discussions with experts on how to put theory into practice

    Part of the EU and British Council’s Training and Cooperation Plan (TCP) this course is part of a highly successful group of courses on Education for Sustainable Development hosted by the ASHA Centre in the Forest of Dean. The Centre itself is a brilliant example of sustainability in practice, with its innovative Bio-Bubble waste processing system, solar and photovoltaic energy production, biomass burners and five acres of stunning organic gardens. Participants will be staying in the centre and will have the opportunity to visit sustainability projects in the Forest of Dean as well as see places of astounding natural beauty. In addition to discussion with experts on the subject, our participants will also get the chance to try some ‘Bio-Dynamic’ gardening in the ASHA grounds!
