    Hi Guys,

I’ve created a recycling website called DIYgogo. As the name suggests, it’s an online directory for the reuse of DIY items that would otherwise be skipped. You can check it out at www.diygogo.co.uk. It’s a free to use non-for-profit, running purely for environmental benefit.

Despite a reasonable amount of local press interest and a valiant effort by myself, creating any inertia has been tricky. I’ve been trying to get councils involved. However, perhaps unsurprisingly, they’ve been reluctant, although there are still a few possibilities in the pipe line.

If you feel there’s something you could do to help – anything at all, then please get in touch, and I can send you some more information.

With the right help and resources, this is a project that has the potential to significantly reduce DIY waste.

    Thanks!
