Our Story
Hedgerows are excellent wildlife habitats, providing shelter and food to numerous birds, small mammals and insects.
The Bromley Green Gym was awarded over 300 saplings from the Woodland Trust in spring 2015. These were planted along the north-west border of College Green. To help these guys establish themselves, we would like to lay a bark chip mulch around the new plants.
If you have any spare mulching material, the Bromley Green Gym would gladly accept your donations. Please leave them near the giant insect habitat wall on College Green or contact Ching Chua at 07542 922 468, bromleygreengym@gmail.com
The Bromley Green Gym holds free volunteering sessions every Friday from 11am 2pm at College Green, BR1 1PA. Do come along and join us for a few hours.
