  • Our Story

CROP is an all inclusive CIC set up to spread the therapeutic qualities of ponies and other animals to those that would not otherwise benefit. The company’s activities will provide benefit to our youth community and adults alike to access the benefits horses and ponies can provide. We are committed to making this available and affordable to all.  We run clubs for children and adults to experience the magic of our herd and have seen first hand what a dramatic difference time spent at our stables can make.

    We aspire to
    • Develop skills, confidence and knowledge in a safe environment conducive to learning
    • Be all inclusive and facilitate integration from all community sectors
    • Encourage physical and mental health wellbeing through being active in the great outdoors

We offer direct and practical support and promote equine assisted learning, growth and recovery. To advance well-being through interaction with and caring for animals. Owning and caring for pets provides a certain amount of therapy and proven health benefits. Animals can help children and adults alike with learning disabilities as well as with anger management, mental health, feelings of isolation and behavioural difficulties. Learning the skills necessary to care for a horse helps promote confidence and eases anxiety and impatience and their calm nature helps enhance social skills.
