Having finished our Pocket Parks sensory garden and opened Cody Dock’s gates to the public in time for the launch of The Line sculpture trail, we now turning our attention to the public footpaths and organising a Capital Clean-up.

Cody Dock is a community led regeneration project that is transforming a formaly hidden corner of our capital by opening up access to the Lower Lea River which is helping to drive significant improvements to the wider area.

As well as providing new access to the River Lea, our Capital Clean-up project site provides the processional route to Cody Dock and the gateway to The Line sculpture trail.

Cody Road and South Crescent are lined with mature trees and provide a home to abundant wildlife. It is however hard to see past the years of neglet and piles of fly tipped rubbish.

Tasks will include hedge trimming, leaf clearing, litter picking and rubbish collection.
