  • Our Story

I am a community artist currently engaged as artist in residents at a Preston school. My main concern in art education is to help inform the choices we make about our impact on the environment. My latest project within a school is using stop frame animation from stories  that have been made up by the children .One of these stories is about how all the animals eventually take their revenge on humanity for treating them badly. I don’t know why they made this story up but there has been a lot of Medea coverage recently about the food chain becoming polluted. I have recently been asked to work within an agricultural collage to facilitate a week of art events based on the theme of Climate Change and I would like the students to collaborate with these short films on this controversial subject, and to hopefully explore all our hopes and fears through this creative project. I am an artist and not a scientist so I would really appreciate any input of ideas that relate to Climate Change. Like for instants; dose the last three or four years of constant rain throughout Great Britain have direct relevance to Climate Change, and will we continue to get more rainy summers?
