Clear out to plant up

Project Category: SchoolProject Tags: Gardening & Food Growing

  • Our Story

After a successful application to the Capital Clean Up fund Avant-Gardening will be collaborating with Robert Owen School to transform the patch of land outside the school into a wildlife friendly edible garden.

As well as preparing the outdoor spaces we will be promoting bio-diversity and working with the children to discover the fun of growing your own food.

We are looking for volunteers to help clear up the vicinity and help to plant our edible garden.

Our Capital Clean Up Day is Thursday 12 June 11am – 4pm and will include a visit from Operation Deep Freeze. http://www.operationdeepfreeze.com

More information about the project can be found at

There will be some opportunities to get involved with the care of the garden once it is set up. Please e-mail paul@avantgardening.org for more information
