  • Our Story

CAT educates for a sustainable society. We run Masters courses in renewable energy and sustainable architecture; have short courses on all aspects of sustainable living; hold regular events and are open to visitors.

CAT informs, inspires and enables practical solutions for sustainable living

We have created some of the most innovative low impact buildings in the UK, including the multi-award-winning Wales Institute for Sustainable Education (WISE). Our Graduate School of the Environment offers Masters programmes in renewable energy and sustainable architecture taught by leading professionals in the industry.

There is something for everyone who wants to learn more about creating a sustainable society at CAT. Through short courses, publications, research, engaged members and a Visitors’ Centre, we are inspiring and enabling people to take action for a sustainable world.
