Ageing Better in Camden – Camden Community Connectors

Camden Community Connectors is a project working to tackle the growing problem of social isolation and loneliness of people over 60. Working with local people, organisations and volunteers to create connections, share skills and knowledge.

Camden Community Connectors is part of Ageing Better in Camden, a borough wide initiative providing opportunities for older residents, funded by Big Lottery over 6 years.

The Camden Community Connectors project will operate in five areas: Holborn, Camden Town, Kentish Town, Hampstead and Gospel Oak. Each area will have a team of volunteers – ‘Community Connectors’ – who will get to know older residents, help to link them to up to existing activities and over time, enable them to reconnect to local networks.
