Our Story
The Back Dane Trust is a charity run fully by volunteers that has been operating for around 40 years. The Trust owns a cottage in The Peak District offering holidays for disadvantaged groups/those in need. Back Dane includes around 5 acres of land some of which is woodland, containing a nature trail, a wildflower meadow and pasture.
A sensory garden is being built to give another area of interest to the visiting groups. Funds for this are coming from the South West Peak Partnership (in association with the Heritage Lottery Fund) and Tesco/Groundwork.
