Our Story
We are a volunteer led group of stroke survivors and carers who firmly believe there is still a life to be enjoyed after a stroke.
We meet every Thursday morning at the Cefn Glas Residential Home in Blackwood (NP12 1WS) to socialise and organise our many trips, outings and activities. Currently we have members throughout the Caerphilly and Gwent Valleys.
We really appreciate the grant we’ve received from Greggs, which will help us fund activities and trips for our group over the coming months. We may also find new members and volunteers along the way!
We already have trips planned to visit the Brecon Military Museum, Sharpness Canal and a boat trip in Cardiff Bay.
A warm friendly family atmosphere awaits all our new members, volunteers and local business who want to get involved.
We really do believe there is a life to be enjoyed after a stroke – come and join us!
