  • Our Story

It Celebration time at Camden Green Gym! We have another extra special session today. Starting with a Bee Survey and count to track the bee populations and species type found in Waterlow Park. We will then break at 12.30 for a Summer Solstice BBQ in the Kitchen Garden. Although few days early, the actual Solstice (the day with the longest period of daylight) is the 21st June. We will be celebrating the summer’s arrival and all that we have achieved as volunteer’s in Camden’s Green Spaces big and Small. The Green Gym® is a unique way to get fit, transform the environment, meet new people and learn new skills. Each day starts with a warm up and finishes with a cool down before and after a range of light to vigorous activities, designed to suit all abilities.

Exit Archway Underground Station and turn left up Highgate Hill. Turn second left Magdalena Avenue, and up right to second en-trance to park. Alternatively, take bus 271, 143, or 210. Exit bus at Highgate Hill stop, turn left onto Dartmouth Park Hill, heading downhill to the South. Take the second entrance on the right into Waterlow Park, meet by the Lodge (N19 5JF).
