  • Our Story

Wibsey Park Community Garden is new site being developed by BCEP.

We will be growing food and veg plants to sell, offering training and therapeutic horticulture sessions to groups and individuals on site, provide opportunities for local schools and other community groups to use the site, and show local people how to grow their own food. Opportunities will include volunteering on site helping grow vegetables, helping develop different areas of the site.

Veg grown on the site is on sale most of the year – please visit the office or look out for the Holiday play-schemes and a programme of other activities will be on offer throughout the year.

Most areas of the site and buildings have level access. We have indoor and outdoor workspace, a restroom & kitchen and toilet facilities on site.  Currently the toilet block is accessed via a step. This will be made accessible to wheelchairs by summer 2013.

community gardenMost activities are offered free. There may be charges for some events / playschemes and veg is on sale from the site on Fridays.
