Our Story
Battersea Community Forum is an informal group that meets quarterly, at various venues, and is open to anyone living and working in Battersea.
VISION
Our vision is for Battersea community members to work together in partnership as an active Voice for Battersea.
MISSION
The Forum provides an opportunity for members to:
- Come together to consider strategic opportunities for Battersea.
- Share information and network.
- Explore opportunities for fundraising and working together.
- Provide a representative body for consultation about issues that impact on the Battersea Community.
STRUCTURE
At the annual election in July 2013 Battersea Community Forum members elected Aaron Barbour (CEO, Katherine Low Settlement) as Chair, and Sarah Ellison (Development Manager, Wandsworth Care Alliance) as Secretary. They share the planning and administration of the Forum.

TBC WORK PROGRAMME IN 2014
The format for the meetings is the first hour focuses on a specific subject (chosen by members) with stimulating speakers and engaging discussion. The second hour is devoted to sharing information and networking. Subjects that BCF members would like to discuss in 2014 are:
- Regeneration incl. Nine Elms Development
- Heritage & History of Battersea
- Green Spaces
- Youth Work
- Health and Well-Being
