    Love cycling or walking?

Help us get more people active this summer!

Join our team of Active Travel Champions and help support and encourage others to walk, cycle and use public transport more as part of their journeys around Camberwell.

Active Travel Champions are volunteers who help people be more active through walking or cycling for more of their everyday journeys. Champions give advice about walking and cycling and set up walking and cycling activities.

So far this year, our Champions have been involved in organising short walks, setting up activities for the Bike Week and updating information about cycling facilities.

As a Champion you can choose which volunteering activities you organise or take part in.

    These activities include:

    • Holding an information stand
    • Organising group rides or walks
    • Create an information display
    • Arranging travel advice clinics
    • Giving talks
    • Setting up cycling or walking groups
    • Or, if you have your own ideas for activities we can work with
    • you to make them happen!
