1. What is the purpose of this role?
Our community is thriving, with new projects & initiatives and volunteers signing up every week, and new campaigns launching in order to help as many of those initiatives get the resources that they need.
Therefore we need someone to help our growing team to deliver the growing portfolio of projects and campaigns to the highest level possible.
2. What will the job be like?
You will work closely with Senior Campaign Managers to deliver our large projects and campaigns, and lead on delivering smaller ones.
The role will also provide a real opportunity to learn when you work directly with Senior Campaign Managers, and also to influence approaches and processes drawn from your own experience.
❏ Working closely with our Campaign Delivery team
❏ Helping source community projects to receive funding or volunteers from our campaigns
❏ Attend partner / funder / client meetings and key volunteer days
❏ Gain diverse experience assisting on the day to day delivery of our high-impact campaigns
❏ Community project visits and creating content from those visits
❏ Providing content for social media
❏ Helping to coordinate events
❏ Social media posting, writing and commenting on blogs
❏ Coming up with ideas about how we can get even better at all of this
❏ Connecting volunteers to those projects that have listed volunteering opportunities
3. What are you like?
Most importantly, you will have bags of energy and enthusiasm, and be a joy to work with. That is an essential part of this role and for working in such a busy environment, so please think carefully about whether this is really you before you apply.
A close second will be your desire to want to do good, and work on projects and campaigns that are ultimately trying to make the world a better place.
You will also have a minimum of two years project management experience and be able to clearly define what is required in that role. You will be dilligent, organised, self-confident and self-motivated.
You will always be willing to get stuck in, and be comfortable with admin tasks, but excited by the genuine opportunity to do more as the opportunity arises. Your written and spoken English will be excellent, you will be very comfortable speaking to people in person and over the phone, and your attention to detail will be fantastic.
You need to be comfortable using various tools including Microsoft Office and G-Drive, and expeirence with Slack, Trello and Harvest will be an advantage but not essential. However qucikly being able to learn how to use new tools is essential.

We run projects such as #GreenerwithGreggs (an environmental fund for Greggs), #GivexCollaborate (a team-based volunteering campaign for Dentsu Aegis Network), #YourPintCan (a neighbourhood investment fund for Carling), and Outdoor Classroom Day (a global day to get over 20m children outdoors to learn & play at school, in partnership with Unilever and a network of NGOs). Last year we ran the Offline Festival for community businesses.
